South Cardiff Community FC Hosts Free Master Coaching Clinic with Cas Wright

South Cardiff Community FC hosted a fantastic event this past Sunday, a FREE Master Coaching Clinic with Cas Wright, Northern NSW Girls Head Coach TSP. The event was a great opportunity for female players and coaches of all ages to come together and learn new skills and techniques from an experienced coach.

The clinic focused on developing the four core skills of football: first touch, running with the ball, 1vs1, and striking. The players were able to learn how to adapt and develop these skills into their own game, with a focus on bringing fun and challenging themselves in training to become their best on game day. Our coaches were able to learn from an experienced coach during the and after the session.

The event was open to full field female players and coaches for Junior Youth and Senior Youth, and was also open to all other clubs. It was a great opportunity for the community to come together and improve their skills, while also having fun.

Cas had some great advice for the girls this season, “Be brave, have confidence and enjoy it!” It is important to remember that soccer is not just about winning, but also about having fun and developing important life skills such as teamwork, determination, and sportsmanship.

The girls had a great time during the morning session and were able to stay refreshed with some iced water. It was a great way to kick off the season and we wish all of our players the best of luck!

Thank you to Cas Wright for sharing her expertise with us and to all of the participants who made this event a success. We look forward to hosting more events like this in the future.
